Battlefield 3 not loading online options

When trying to open the multiplayer menu to start playing online, the screen sometimes says loading but most of the time darkens the screen like it usually does when battlefield loads and it’ll freeze the game there. Tried deleting the game off the console
and reinstalling it twice and still does the same thing. First tried it with a disc and thought it was too scratched to go any further than the main menu so i bought the digital copy and does the same damn thing. Called the xbox support team but nothing they
recommended has worked.

Clear the console cache, it might help, good luck.

I don’t think so, tried deleting the game and re downloading it. Going back to factory settings. Going through different ports. Clearing the mac address... i also tried playing on the xbox 360 late last night and it said it couldn’t connect to the ea servers.

Sorry to here that is happening. Ive been playing battlefield 3 for a while and still play. Hopefully we can get this figured out. That’s a really strange problem, what steps did xbox support tell you to go through? The only thing i can think, since it lets
you play the campaign, is maybe the online agreement. Thinking back to when i first started playing, when you started up the game it will ask for you to download the online pass which is free now and agree to the terms of use. After that the online is unlocked.
Did you have to go through any such steps?

It will also load the campaign just fine, its only when i try and open any of the online options.

Hopefully that helps. If you follow this and still don't see the option, I would suggest contacting EA support as it appears this should be an in-game option, but not available from the dashboard marketplace.
