Battlefield 2042 refund denied

I'm trying to get a refund on battlefield 2042 Gold Edition but they denied it very quickly, the reason it was denied because it was a digital game. However the site does say you can refund digital games within 14 days of purchaseing which I did, and since purchased I have not accumulated significant play time (mainly because the games is broken). I have emailed a reply to the email I received, however I have had no reply back and Microsoft are giving me no support in helping refund my money.

I am beyond frustrated with Microsoft, I have a completely valid reason for refunding which are mentioned in a list below of the issues I have encountered since playing the game:

- server connection issues - resulting in being kicked out from the game.

- graphic issues - the graphics do not load properly

- the soldier gets stuck in some areas of the map

- the game does not load up and crashes frequently sending me back to the xbox dashboard

- an error message appears regarding a connection issue which sends you back to the main menu

I spent £89 on this game and which considering the reasons above I believe is unjustified as the game is unplayable.

If anyone can direct me to any other steps I can take I will be thankful. I have been supportive of xbox/Microsoft for years and now they have let me down as a customer.

Significant amount of time is over an hour so if you played for an hour it DOes Count as signifjcant

Perhaps the community needs to address this issue in the courts. A simple refund for a broken product would be a hell of a lot cheaper and time efficient than a lawsuit but maybe it'll come to that. I just put in my refund request so we will see.

It's a disgrace refunds aren't being honoured and US consumer law is applied to citizens of other countries such as UK, EU etc..

I've done exactly what you have for the same reason. I even submitted a video where support agreed the video showed the game was broken and being in a EU member state I can request a refund within 14 days and without justification. Xbox policy even says this but I was still denied again having escalated my case.

So I contacted my bank to issue a charge back cause I sure as sugar will not be stuck with this purchase of false advertising and broken code.

Shame on Xbox/Microsoft for this one. Really dropped the ball.

The same thing is going on with me. The game actually shuts my Xbox series x off, usually before I can finish a game. I sent in a refund request and it was immediately denied. I’ve been waiting almost a week to hear back from Microsoft after I replied to the email that informed me it was denied. This is super frustrating, and nobody at customer support will help
