    Battlefield 2042 Gold Edition


    I was Gifted Battlefield 2042 Gold Edition through the xbox app. Unfortunately the person who gifted me the game, gifted me the xbox edition and I was hoping to play it on my pc. I do not have an xbox. I had redeemed the game already before i had realized the situation. What can i do? We had requested a refund and we were denied. When i try to install the game on my PC , I am prompted with "Battlefield 2042 Gold Edition Xbox One & Xbox series XlS does not work on this device".

    EA Play games not free/costing

    You're welcome and to access the trial simply follow the steps below:

    On your console, open the Store app and search for Battlefield 2042

    Select Battlefield 2042 Xbox One - Choose edition

    Select Battlefield 2042 Xbox One - this should be the first option with no price available

    Select Free Trial with EA Play and then select Install all

    There's nothing to do. Microsoft only has this game in their store for consoles and not for PC. The person who gave you the gift could request a refund but this would only be possible if you did not use the code.
