Battlefield 1 xbox live gold

I want to buy battlefield1 but Does it need xbox live gold to play? in other forums someone say it only needs live gold for multiplayer not single player . Is it real? Please answer

I'm thinking he is referring to Xbox Live Gold. If that's the case, they've confirmed that you will not need to pay for Xbox Live Gold to access online modes/games for Windows 10.

Hi, to play battlefield 1 multiplayer, you do need a gold subscription. To play single player, you do not need a gold subscription.
