    I can't join any matches on battlefield 5. A message just pops up that says failed to join game session - an unknown error occurred. Error code 1.



    It's been doing this for hours now.... Every other game works and I tried resetting my Xbox which didn't help obviously.

    It's been doing this for hours now.... Every other game works and I tried resetting my Xbox which didn't help obviously.
    Like was said above, EA Servers are with some issues, not only BFV but are reports that others EA Games are being affected, like PVZ and FIFA. You need to try more later.

    Thank you so much for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums.

    Is the session you are joining a private session? This error code tends to appear when there is some sort of network connectivity error.

    A lot of the troubleshooting I've seen on the
    EA forums support page     suggest either using a static IP address, or disabling IPv6 from inside your router.

    Is your NAT type currently open? If not you may want to try the
    Xbox One Multiplayer Game Solution    .

    Go ahead and give this a go and let us know the results!
