Battleborn keeps Crashing on startup...

Just purchased and downloaded battleborn today, went to load it up and it crashing as soon as it gets to the Gearbox logo. tried multiple times thinking it may work and even removed and reinstalled the game and the same keeps happening. anyone else having
this issue?!

Gears 2 BC keeps crashing on startup/menu

Hey there,

My Gears 2 on Xbox One with Backward Compatibility keeps crashing when I and my girldfiend log into 360 virtual Console. It was working perfectly fine and the fun fact is, that Gears 3 does not have this issue.

I already tried a reinstall but this didn't solve my issue.

Anyone else having that problem?

If the crash occurs there is a strange noise from the speakers(like crazy sound loop) and the Game is shutting dosn itself after some time.

That is very bad and we had to watch a Let's Play of the Rest to know the ending and start Gears 3 and later Judgement to catch up until Gears 4 will be released.

But we want the Acheivements from Gears 2 too.

To solve this issue I suggest you to clear your console cache and the Mac address:

a)To clear cache on an Xbox One:

Press and hold the power button on the front of the console until it powers down completely.

Unplug the power cable from the back of the console so that the power brick in not connected to the console.

Press the power button on the console three or four times. This will ensure that any remaining power in the battery is drained, clearing the cache on the console.

Plug the power cable back into the console.

Wait for the light on the power brick to change from white to orange.

Turn on the console using the power button.

b)To clear your Mac address:

Go to Xbox dashboard. Go to system settings Go to network Go to advanced settings Go to alternate MAC address Clear Your Xbox will tell you It will restart. Once you have restarted play the game.

It turns out it was a problem with the Windows Update KB5026446. After uninstalling this, the issue was fixed.

I would prefer Overwatch over Battleborn. Though Battleborn was popular back then.
