Battery issues on XB1 controllers?

I've been using my Day One 2013 controller since launch. The thumbsticks were starting to act up so I bought a new controller. It was the regular official black controller for like $45. I can tell this controller is a little different because the LB and
RB buttons push easier (reminiscent of the 360 controller) and the Xbox button doesn't stick out as far.

Now ever since I've gotten this new controller, the controller shuts off from time to time and it frequently shows that the batteries are low so then I take the cover off and push the batteries in even though they feel like they're already in. This causes the
battery percentage to show it at it's correct amount again. I had a friend who had a controller he got with the One S and he said he also had this issue. So is this a common issue with newer made Xbox controllers? It was never a problem with my original XB1
controller. What controller should I buy that actually works?

007 you are correct just seen a video, really small things in the triggers no wonder I didn't see them, looks like I have been assimilated lol.

I opened one up when it started drifting up there were two rumble motors. The amount dirt was unbelievable sorry gone off track.

I have used two different Xbox One Controllers and I have not had the problem.

If it does the same thing with different sets of batteries or battery packs, I would guess there's something actually wrong with that specific controller. If you recently purchased it, I would try to get it swapped out by the retailer with another one.
