Batman – The Telltale Series... Just How Bad Is It?

Surely someone got this?

Unless I missed a thread, I haven't seen anyone excited over this now that it's out.

Batman Telltale

Hello,

I don't believe Episode 2 is available for download just yet. It is scheduled for today but appears to not yet have hit the Store.

This page from Telltale indicates it is coming today, but its status is not yet "Available Now":

Batman - The Telltale Series - Episode 5: City of Light

Batman - The Telltale Series - Episode 5: City of Light Released but not showing achievements as of 11-14-16 how long does it take before it does.

 

It's so bad it's not running for some people according to XBox Games Discussion.

That being said it's working for some people because you can see them streaming it on Twitch.

I don't find the on-rails experience of the Telltale series to be very entertaining but that doesn't matter. There are plenty people who really enjoy it.

Maybe nobody posted about it in here because of toxic membership that just jumps in to declare the game a waste of time or money even though they haven't played it?

 

I definitely plan on buying this as I'm a big fan of Telltale games.

From what I've read on Twitter the majority seem to be saying it's very good.

The main problem I've seen posted is some achievements not unlocking and some episodes/chapters having to be re-played to get them to pop. If I remember correctly this has been a common problem with previous Telltale games.

 

It worked fine for me. Was a fun game only had a small hiccup with game audio messing up during the first fight scene. Other than that it is a good story. Also achievements did not unlock during game play but showed up the next day.

 

Will wait for all the episodes to come out on disc & just rent it.

I'm not sure if "toxic" is the word I'd use to describe you, but I really don't think you scare people from making post. I don't think any of the 10 or so regular posters here are afraid of making a post because of you.

And that's the reason there are barely 10 regular people posting in these forums.

No surprise people don't stick around the way other people react when they see someone new in the sandbox.

 

I have no interest, but I might when it's complete.

 

It was a good Episode. Not the best Telltale has made, but not bad.

It's hard to tell by the first episode where they are taking us, as there are usually twists and turns.

They have some interesting ideas that i look forward to seeing more fleshed out.

As for the experience of the game itself, it had a couple of hiccups, not to many so not a bad playing experience.

PC people got the worst of the bugs it seems.

Then again, they are using a new (or reworked) engine, so some bugs and small problems are to be expected.

But of course they rectify these pretty fast usually so i wouldn't worry. At least not on console.

If you like Batman and like the Telltale games, you probably won't be dissapointed.

 

I would've downloaded it if I knew it was out. I look at store pretty much daily and while I'm sure it's there it wasn't on any of the top pages like any new game should be
