Batman: Return to Arkham - Arkham Asylum Not Installing

I recently purchased Batman: Return to Arkham and I am having an issue with Arkham Asylum. If I try installing the game, I immediately get the Ready to Start notification, and notice that the game is no longer in my download queue (as if it's competely
downloaded). If I go to the Manage Game page, it says all 29.4 GB of the game is installed. However, if I try to play the game, I get the initial splash screen, but the game doesn't actually load. In other words, I think what's happening is something is
keeping the game from actually downloading/installing.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times and the issue keeps repeating. I do not have any of these issues with Return to Arkham - Arkham City, only Arkham Asylum. I've also tried uninstalling both games and reinstalling them, which didn't
work either.

I went to the WB Games Support forms to ask, but those seem pretty untended and useless. Any ideas?

I don't have the game on disc, so offline's not an option, unfortunately. I'm not sure it's an issue with the OS because I'm still able to download and install other games. I think the issue is with Arkham Asylum specifically. Either way, I'll try the
Soft Reset and see if that helps.

Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Forums! Regarding Batman: Return to Arkham not installing, I would suggest
trying a Soft
Factory Reset if the offline mode doesn't work. This will keep all your games and apps but returns your settings to a default status.

Generally when that happens, it could be the operating system is having some technical difficulties or the game
itself. However, you said you checked the game forums and saw there was no known issues. Worst case scenario you would need to do a Full Factory reset which would remove everything.

Side Note:
It is
very important to make sure you know the primary email/password to the account before removing
it from the console.

To check the email being used with the gamertag, go to
Settings > Account > sign-in, security & passkey;
in middle column at the top it will say "show on home"
if it is checked it will rotate from gamertag and email on homepage. If it is not check marked, it will show in this box.

Do you have the game on a disc? if so have you tried installing it with your console set to offline mode?
