Batman getting Remastered Collection - Report

Been there and done that on all 3 Batman Arkham games via the 360. Wonderful games to play especially Arkham City.

Having said that. A remastered game is nothing more than upwards of 60 bucks worth of eye candy and not much, IF anything else. It's like re-bottling and selling something from the previous generation - which for all intents and purposes should have been
BC from the start on current generation systems.

Eye candy: 720p upscalled to 900 MAYBE. That's what? an extra 180p!

Well, according to this very forum on subjects such as. "Resolution gate." 180p "isn't even noticeable by the human eye." ~ Xbox One forum regulars on paTROLL here 24x7.

Which if true means that a remastered version of the Batman Arkham, or any last gen series for that matter. Isn't worth purchasing.

Oh, here's a great Idea!

Whats say lets simply allow Backwards Compatability from past generations of games, and let Game Developers/crew/and/or temps concentrate more of there time and effort on making New - never before seen games - for this generation of gamers?

No, I don't believe they CAN'T do BC. For can't never could do anything. Besides, the X-86 architecture or whatever excuse people gave - if actually not capable of running "old school games" is in and of itself worthless!

 

I'll take it with a side of hells yea. As long as these remasters or any remasters for that matter have noticeable changes from last gen i gladly welcome all with open arms and open wallet as that's more games for the One and when i finally retire the 360
it will make it easier as a lot of the games i loved will be on the One.

 

I would actually buy these because I did not get a chance to play them last gen. That and I have always been a batman junkie. Ordered a copy of both the Limited and Batmobile editions of Arkham Knight because I want both statues.

 

I will most likely get this at some stage, definitely not when it releases though, so keen for the new Batman.
