    Batman: Arkham Origins - Question in regards to backwards compatibility


    From what I understand, Batman: Arkham Origins is not backwards compatible for the XBOX one.

    I have a seen a few people on XBOX ONE playing it though.

    How is this possible?

    I checked to see if the game is available for purchase through the store, but it does not show up.

    Also- my Batman: Arkham Origins XBOX 360 game will not work. As mentioned above, it isn’t backwards compatible.

    Can someone explain this to me?

    How are they playing it on the XBOX one?

    Why is Arkham Origins not purchasable online but Arkham City + Asylum is?

    Pretty much, why is batman Arkham origins not purchasable on the store while batman Arkham city and asylum are when Origins was made after them?

    It is compatible. But since there is no GoD version it is Disc only.

    These games are available as digital copies, as all games through the
    backwards compatibility list are available through both disc and digital, but the availability of purchase is dependent
    on the request of the developer for the title to be distributed.

    With Batman Arkham Origins being a backwards compatible title, you never know. As the other ambassador pointed out, make sure your voice is heard on the game developers official forums and tweet their handle! :)

    Arkham asylum for the Xbox 360 is not a backwards compatible title.
    The only backwards compatible title is Arkham origins

    This means the title can't be played on Xbox one and newer consoles :c
    But as far as I know Asylum have a remaster for Xbox one

    If you recently purchased this title and you are able to return it, the best option for you is do it.
