Batman: Arkham Origins Disc Not Prompting Download (Xbox One)

Just bought a disc copy of Batman: Arkham Origins but I'm not getting a prompt to download when I put in either disc 1 or disc 2. I'm using an original Xbox One that reads other discs perfectly. I have already looked at several forums and have tried the following:

Soft factory reset

Cleaning the disc with a cleaning solution and disc cloth

Ejecting, re-inserting, and then restarting the console

Ejecting and re-inserting after restarting

Same issue for both discs.

Disc 1 does have a small crack in the plastic ring and a weird smudge on the edge of the disk, but the rest of the disc is clean aside from the usual tiny scratches and smudges. (see image). Is this disc toast? Is there something else I can try (do I have to do a hard factory reset and potentially delete/reset everything)? I don't have another Xbox One to test the disk out on, unfortunately.

Hi,

Batman: Arkham Origins is a BC Game but you have to connect to Xbox Live and download the game using the physical disc in order to play.

Batman's Arkham series is at least a three-part game.

I'll replay B:AA before moving to B:AC, and B:AO isn't even out yet.
