Batman AC (GFWL)

I have this game on disk. Does anyone know how to get the live to work. When im on the menu I click live and nothing happens.

Have played MW3, Batman AC, Dead Island. Really liked Batman AC. Playing Saints Row The Third recently and loving it.

 

Unable to retrieve purchase history for Age of Empires 3 on GFWL client

I have bought Batman Arkham City with real money and there is that problem of GFWL

Microsoft, fix GFWL or give me my money

 

Possibly due to the GFWL shutdown. I believe it's already began. Another Microsoft phase.

 

But when I installed the game I didn't get prompt for a update.

 

It's a Steamworks game now. GFWL support was patched out. Can you play the game currently?

I liked gfwl. I don't know why they would get ride of it im still playing halo 2 and resident evil 5 and there's still a few people on them.

 

Apex, have you tried opening the GFWL overlay by pressing the Home key on your keyboard and logging into your account from there?

 

Yea i've tried the home key. I tried reinstalling and nothing. I dont get how a game on disk can update to get rid of gfwl. I even tried installing the game without being online and it still dont come up. I thought if the game is on disk it could not be
updated unless connected to the net.

 

I don't think there is a manual patch to get rid of GFWL. Have you tried redeeming it on Steam using the instructions I linked above?

 

Yea my key don't seem to work with steam.

Yep tried reinstalling. Would be nice to get achievements.

 

Not the game entire but just GFWL. You can uninstall a game and the client will still be on your system.

So you can uninstall each separately. You've probably tried this but it is worth asking.

Other than that I'm not sure what else to suggest. I know GFWL is working as I've got Fable III playing at this very moment.
