    I downloaded the January Free Game with Gold in January. I slowly played through Chapter 1, earning my first achievement on 01/18/20. When I reached chapter 2, I was unable to progress without paying $14.99 to continue. Microsoft advertised that this
    free game with gold included the first 5 chapters. Why am I being required to pay for chapters 2-5?

    I tried contacting MS via chat and they told me that because the game is no longer offered as free I can not advance chapters because the publisher changed the rules. Everything that I've read from MS states that all games with gold are free forever on
    Xbox One as long as I maintain a continuous Xbox Live Gold subscription. My subscription has never lapsed and is paid through January 2023. I've never seen any news that MS can withdraw a free game with gold at any time for any reason. The main reason I
    buy Xbox Live Gold is for the free games and I don't have time to play all the games I get immediately.

    I would like MS to fix this Batman game so I can continue to play all five chapters for free as they had advertised.

    I really like the first Batman so I will definitely download this and play it. Looks pretty good as most Telltale games do.

    I believe when it says the first five chapters, its.the first 5 in the first episode.

    Games from TellTale has a certain number of chapters in an Episode. The wording is a bit confusing, but it sounds like it.is just the first 5 chapters in episode one since.it says the first 5. When they do the walking dead games for.GWG, it says the complete
    season so I'm thinking that's what is going on.

    usually with those games they give you the first chapter for free and then you are required to buy the rest. It could of changed but that's how it was for me. The game is really good so its totally worth it but i would buy the season pass if its avaliable

    Its fixed.I played it about a year ago on xbox and it worked fine.I heard of what you were talking about but it's fine to play now.It was patched a long time ago.
