    Playing on iPad mini 5 on Xbox cloud gaming on fortnite and I cannot turn of touch to play with a controller instead. Please advise?

    I also tried Nintendo pro controller and it was the same. Once I launch the fortnite on cloud gaming it does not read the controller. I used Safari on my iPad mini and chrome and also edge and nothing worked. Is it true that for web gaming only Xbox controllers are compatible?

    When cloud gaming on an Xbox console, any wired or wireless controller that is compatible with an Xbox console will work for cloud gaming on console.

    If you’re using a web browser to play cloud games, the Xbox Wireless Controller is currently the only officially supported controller. Other controllers may or may not work for cloud gaming on a browser.

    SN30 Pro Controller for Xbox Cloud Gaming on Android (Bluetooth connection)

    Verified
    N30 Pro 2 (Bluetooth or USB connection)

    These are the two models supported for Xbox Cloud gaming.

    Try to connect it via Bluetooth or USB cable whichever works. I also suggest to try a different controller to isolate the issue.

    Gears of War 5 is nowhere to be found anymore.

    Does the xbox scuff accessories work with the wireless controller and can they both be used on a ipad

    The scuff accessories will work on a Xbox One Wireless controller, the controller will work on an iPad, but whether the accessories will, I do not know. You might want to ask scuf that question.
