    Sorry, but I would like this discussion to remain open for a little longer - giving it quite literally two minutes for a one-line answer seems very abrupt. I'd like to see if any other users have explored other options.

    The first answer after two minutes was an Xbox is no longer an online gaming device at all.... unless you pay an additional subscription starting at ~£100 a year for an Xbox Live Gold account.

    It is worth leaving it more time as, even if we ignore the cost - the change in Live account requirements means that effectively no under 16's are allowed to use Xboxes online - even when we're tried the one month trial, his account is blocked with an Xbox
    Live errors saying "you are too young", so my 9yr old son isn't allowed access to Xbox Live Gold unless I disable all the parental controls, which I'm not willing to do.

    We're still in lockdown, so the online interaction with his school friends is really valuable and I want to tell him that I've given this a fair chance before we have to sell his xbox.

    When to start DLC's?

    as an old timer player for this game, do your PT1 for the main game, then do Zombie PT1, and then Knoxx PT1 and then Robot PT1, but on PT2 do the main game to start but do it till you activate Fast Travel or you get to New Haven, then do Zombie PT2 tell
    you get the Backpack SDU, then do Robot PT2 and get the Backpack SDU, then do Knoxx PT2 you'll have a lot more Backpack space to use when fighting the Crawmerax

    2nd Playthrough Question

    yes the DLC missions will be there on PT2. However, the level "trigger" is the Find Steel" mission on playthrough 2 in the main game. Once you hit that mission enemys will be near your level. I've played your way but found I was overleveled most of the
    time (depending on side missions completed). You won't lose progress on your DLC's but the game will trigger bigger badder enemys (and you'll score more) if you allow it to level and complete the DLC's. I can see your strategy but I've tried to overlevel
    on pupose and it gets tedious. I've played both ways and find this the most useful for staying near level: PT1 main game, PT2 main game, PT2 ZI, PT2 Knoxx and PT2 Claptrap. The Moxxie levels to the hosts level so it really doesn't matter.

    can i still do a 2nd playthrough of knoxx?

    I'm not sure what you're asking but... you should be able to do the Main Game (Fryestone) quests in PT2 if you haven't already done them. The Underdome in PT1 and PT2 also and get the skill points.

    Yep the controls are much the same. Can't combo powers thou like can in this game. It's harder then PT2 thou.
