Basic help required on new Xbox One S

Being old is probably the reason but, having purchased a new X Box with 2 controllers and wanting to plat "Golf Club" with my wife, no matter what I do, I cannot set up a charachter for her and she has to play as a guest. Having played a similar game on
Play Station, we both built up characters/players, but if I cannot get her on except as a guest, how can she progress through the game?

After doing a bit of research I found that Golf club doesn't allow two online profiles to play each other on the same console. According to the hb-studios support forums only one online profile can be signed in at a time, the other player will be added only
as a guest. Unfortunately that means only one multiplayer profile can progress in a local multiplayer game. I would suggest taking turns as the main profile and guest every few games. This way you can both progress while playing together even if may take
a bit longer.

The Xbox One requires at least a 720p HDTV or monitor for display.

Basically, if the TV has an HDMI port, your Xbox One S
should work just fine on it.

For me, I'm running my Xbox One S on a standard 1080p TV without a problem.

All the talk about 4K is just an extra feature that the Xbox One S supports; if you have a 4K HDTV, the Xbox One S will be able to upscale the content to 4K resolution. It's not necessarily required to have
4K, but it sure would be nice.

You mean for buying games ? As mentioned it's about consistency.

And games don't HAVE requirements for xbox one

No game requires xbox one s or x it's just xbox

What more is it to be confused about?.

People don't refer to xbox series x as xbox one x nor do ANY game require it

Physical games still have series x of course

There is NO GAME that requires the xbox one X or S What more waste of space do you want and for what sake you want more info other then XBOX since no game requires one x or S ?

Question again for you is WHY? Since it Is clear

Xbox one games are XBOX and series games are labeled S/X

AND NO there is no xbox one s or x Games

Xbox one x is discontinued

No-one refers to xbox one x games as there is no such requirement
