    Hi, I have a barely used xbox one x, maybe less than 2 hours of game time, and less than 20 blurays use, I only bought it for the bluray player, And now I am getting a system error, I have tried so many times to update it, it wont, and all I see on the microsoft website is if it doesnt work then it needs to be sent out for repair, this is really frustrating, spending this much on xbox, while I have several playstations, one is more than ten years old and has never been broken, now I see that the cost to fix this unit is 250 bucks. Is that true? I want to clarify if that is really the cost to fix this type of error, otherwise this barely used unit will just go to the trash and forget about buying any microsoft related hardware forever in my family and just stick to sony. I wonder if this issue is going on to coincide with the release of the new xbox?

    Not likely as they are limited run items. Best bet is to buy a broken xbox one x on eBay and swap the case.
