Someone hacked my xbox live account and changed my gamertag to something that violates the "code of conduct." However when I recovered my account, it was banned until 12/31/9999. Can you please unban my account?

I agree.If you Tamper with your HDD and do things that werent ment to be done.Then yes you should be Banned.Why is it so HARD for people to play by the rules?

I report them ALL....Its so annoying and the tags are HUGE...........I thought it was a prestige thing and was about to rage complaign but I see its an exploit and not supposed to be part of the game.

prideloss is correct, all ban enquiries must go to the forum section that he provided in the above post. Please note that threads in that specific section are reviewed before they are purchased. Alternatively, you will have been sent an email to the address
that is tied to the gamertag in question that will have explained the reasoning behind the enforcement.

If you believe your account was breached via unauthorized access then you would need to contact
Phone Support and request that they carry out an Unauthorized Access Investigation. They will block your account for the duration of the investigation and follow up with you once they reach a
conclusion.

Device band can't be lifted, if was a temporary ban the time of the ban needs to end if it's a permanent ban, it will remain banned

No, once an account is banned, then it is banned. banned means banned. Sorry, but you shouldn't have broken the CoC/ToS.

What happens if I've been banned?

The ban isn’t a message ban it’s an “account” ban, with no information to follow the ban. This is just the only cause that makes sense to me.

An appeal would be for an account ban, not a console ban. Account bans and console bans are separate so it would be possible to have the account ban lifted if the enforcement team determined they made a mistake.
