    If I can’t block players from messaging me, how can I stop getting banned. It’s ridiculous how you ban me but you won’t help me keep these kids from messaging me to avoid them all together. We need a message block from any player option. Plus you’re game
    lags out too much for crap like this.

    On your console file a complaint on the player for voice communications and block communication with them. Also, let your friends know to do the same. The problem will be investigated and dealt with accordingly. Also, posting other gamers' gamertags isn't

    There is a system to block communications with other players -How to Mute or Block Other Players on Xbox One

    Even without blocking them, you would would only get suspended if you respond to them in a way that violates the code of conduct.

    For players who are harassing you, I would advise to first block them and follow up by reporting them. Best not to engage in bad behavior with them, two wrongs don't make a right.

    you will not be banned for complaints if the complaints are not warranted. the policy enforcement team verifies validity of complaints first. Complaints will not be overlooked.

    It doesn't matter how a situation starts. If you respond in a way that violates the code of conduct, you can be held responsible. In situations like that, it's best to file a complaint on the other person and block communications with them instead of responding.
    Most of the time people are doing that just to get you to react.

    Filing false complaints will not get you banned. All complaints are investigated, and only acted on if the complaint is valid. If you were banned, you can have that decision reviewed by going to the enforcement site, but if found to be a valid ban, you will
    not get your account back and everything on that account is lost.
