    I just got off chat with a Manager named Rommel. I was trying to ask for a digital content refund because I just purchased the game and it's on sale. The guy threatened to ban me for even asking. What the hell is going on? Is this how customer support treats
    6+ year customers.

    The worst question I've ever asked.

    Microsoft is a disappointment, because you fucked up and got you account banned, losing all your digital content?

    Sounds like you should be disappointed in yourself for making the poor choices you made that lead to your account being banned.

    I'm not sure how the conversation went

    But here's how it works

    If customer support refuses you a refund that's final you don't have options

    Now if you say for example you call your creditcard and threaten to declare fraudulent purchase then you get two situations that happen

    One your card investigates and you get punished with a bad credit report for filing a bad report by your creditcard

    Or two you get approve by the banks and guess what because you obtained games for free you get a marketplace theft ban if ms didn't approve it

    As part of your card agreement you are supposed to work with the billing company if they approve or deny is on them

    If you fraudulently declare a charge back you deal with the consequences if they weren't approved in the first place

    Saying you got bored of the game isn't a valid refund reason

    And if you declare multiple ones then not only your card notices but xbox

    You are only allowed up to one chance at a refund per year unless a unauthorized access case

    Anything more you are playing Russian roulette with your wallet

    Fyi any company will suspend your account if you charge back if you weren't approved

    Regardless of reasons

    You need the billing companies approval

    You really should read your card agreement

    YYou wouldn't get a refund if you don't get approved

    And forcing a refund by cashback can lead to a suspension for marketplace theft which has nothing to do with the manager who wouldn't have the power

    And it is a clear violation of the terms of use

    The Xbox pet team or any billing company will suspend you if you do a non approved charge back ask your card they will tell you the same thing

    They are treating you the exact same way they would of done 6+ years ago.

    It clearly states there are no refunds on digital games.The only exception is if the game is broken.

    Asking for a refund just because the game you bought has gone on sale is not a valid reason for a refund,it's always been like that & it is a bannable offence although no one from support can issue any type of enforcement action so the person telling you
    that is unacceptable if true.

    If the decision is upheld then you wont be getting your digital content back.

    As per the ToU you agreed to when starting your account you forfeit all digital content,remaining gold time etc. if your account is banned.
