Banned

I got communication banned on August 11th 2017 and I still cannot join parties. The enforcement site thinks my ban should be over because I cannot apply for a case review. Case number is 1398747291

:)

It's not a permenant ban but those that have received a retail console early and connected it to the net have had it banned.

First check the enforcement site to verify that all suspensions are really over: https://enforcement.xbox.com/en-US

If all suspensions are expired, and you are therefore clear, try the following steps:

1. Remove your account from the Xbox.
2. Give your Xbox a power cycle.
3. Add your account back into the Xbox.
4. Attempt to use the social features now.

Also, I've heard there is a issue where the enforcement site is not showing any extensions or additions to the enforcement actions and the only way to find out if you have an extension is to contact Microsoft Support by Phone and they can see if you still
have an active ban. They will not be able to tell you the details but then can tell you when it will end.

Hey there! Head on over to this link for Enforcement, sign in, click on the little orange gavel that will appear and it will take you to a complete Enforcement
history of the account you are signed into.



Enforcement does not read the forums, nor do they have a direct way of being contacted via phone or email. That being said, sometimes, Enforcement will deem a suspension as being worthy of a review. If so, you will see a link called "Review" next to the
current enforcement action. This is your only way to contact Enforcement directly to plead your case and possibly have the Enforcement action overturned.



Enforcement will also send you an email to the address that is linked to the Microsoft account with complete details of what the suspension/ban is for and for how long (Bans being permanent). You can read up on further details regarding the Enforcement

From what I've seen that not unusual for MS support to send people here when they are not sure of something and the user community can help. We are always glade to try to help everyone the best we can.
