Discus and support Banned in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; Hi, I’ve been banned from going on Xbox Live until the 22nd October but have not done anything to get this?     Hi, I’ve been banned from going on Xbox Live until the 22nd October but have not done anything to get this? Is there anything I can do to remove this?

    It's not a permenant ban but those that have received a retail console early and connected it to the net have had it banned.

    Xbox One shipped early by Target, one user gets a temporary ban by Microsoft | VG247

    Unfortunately there`s nothing you can do, but respect the process. If you have had multiple people reporting you for any reason, this could be a big reason. It can be a Ban for 1 week or 2 sometimes 1 month depending the severity of the repeated issues.
    If you have something offensive in your Bio or your gamertag, or pictures, or yelling in the mic, swearing, threats etc this is what happens. It cannot be undone and before you actually do get banned, xbox staff looks into it before making the final decision.

    Device band can't be lifted, if was a temporary ban the time of the ban needs to end if it's a permanent ban, it will remain banned

    No, once an account is banned, then it is banned. banned means banned. Sorry, but you shouldn't have broken the CoC/ToS.

    What happens if I've been banned?

    Most bans occur because of unacceptable behavior or content, such as lewd player emblems. On the first offense, a player receives a temporary ban from using that feature. Subsequent offenses can lead to further temporary bans or even a permanent ban.

    Banned players have limited access to the game based on the terms of their ban. Bans for hacking or using a modified console blocks access to all online features of the game. These types of bans are always permanent.

    Will you reverse my ban?

    Currently there is no appeal process for bans. To keep your online gameplay privileges in good standing, it’s best to immediately cease any unsociable behavior and wait out the ban.

    How long will this ban last?

    The length of bans vary on the type and number of offenses. This can be seen in the ban message that appears in game.

    The ban isn’t a message ban it’s an “account” ban, with no information to follow the ban. This is just the only cause that makes sense to me.

    An appeal would be for an account ban, not a console ban. Account bans and console bans are separate so it would be possible to have the account ban lifted if the enforcement team determined they made a mistake.
