    Hello I'm here to talk about an issue I find very personal I was playing Friday the 13th when I encountered a cheater he did a glitch that prevented me from getting a chance at winning the game some being a normal human being I acted out and messaged him
    calling him a cuss word but I immediately got reported and then banned when he was the real bad guy here I am banned for 24 hours and I just rented a video game (Call of Duty) for two days before I go on vacation and I'm not even gonna get to play it the way
    I wanna play it I would like to get the player banned. He is a jerk and his goal in life is to make other people angry please please help

    It's not a permenant ban but those that have received a retail console early and connected it to the net have had it banned.

    Sorry to hear it. Unfortunately no one on the forums can help with enforcements. You'll need to log in to http://enforcement.xbox.com/ and click the hammer icon to see the reason for the action.

    As far as getting someone banned, that is up to the PET. If you find someone doing something against the terms of use and code of conduct be sure to go to their bio and select File Complaint then follow the instructions provided.

    Finally, Gun Media has announced they are working on putting a Report feature into the game so you can report players who are found to be cheating or taking advantage of glitches.

    Device band can't be lifted, if was a temporary ban the time of the ban needs to end if it's a permanent ban, it will remain banned

    No, once an account is banned, then it is banned. banned means banned. Sorry, but you shouldn't have broken the CoC/ToS.

    What happens if I've been banned?

    Most bans occur because of unacceptable behavior or content, such as lewd player emblems. On the first offense, a player receives a temporary ban from using that feature. Subsequent offenses can lead to further temporary bans or even a permanent ban.

    Banned players have limited access to the game based on the terms of their ban. Bans for hacking or using a modified console blocks access to all online features of the game. These types of bans are always permanent.

    Will you reverse my ban?

    Currently there is no appeal process for bans. To keep your online gameplay privileges in good standing, it’s best to immediately cease any unsociable behavior and wait out the ban.

    How long will this ban last?

    The length of bans vary on the type and number of offenses. This can be seen in the ban message that appears in game.

    The ban isn’t a message ban it’s an “account” ban, with no information to follow the ban. This is just the only cause that makes sense to me.

    An appeal would be for an account ban, not a console ban. Account bans and console bans are separate so it would be possible to have the account ban lifted if the enforcement team determined they made a mistake.
