    It's not a permenant ban but those that have received a retail console early and connected it to the net have had it banned.

    I was banned for nothing when [Mod Removed] kicked me offline for having more skill than him I wish to have his account banned for tampering with console and xbox support said this could lead to permanent suspension

    [Mod Removed] kicked me off of my own network and got me banned for no reason and I request for him to be banned permanently so this cannot happen to me or anyone else.

    You do not get banned for no reason.The only way to report someone is via your console,it can not be done via the forums.

    Calling out gamertags is not allowed on the forums.

    If someone is ddos ing you then follow the steps here
    support.xbox.com/.../dos-attacks-faq     To find out why you were banned either read the email you would have been sent or post in the forums owenkiller linked.

    Device band can't be lifted, if was a temporary ban the time of the ban needs to end if it's a permanent ban, it will remain banned

    No, once an account is banned, then it is banned. banned means banned. Sorry, but you shouldn't have broken the CoC/ToS.

    What happens if I've been banned?

    Most bans occur because of unacceptable behavior or content, such as lewd player emblems. On the first offense, a player receives a temporary ban from using that feature. Subsequent offenses can lead to further temporary bans or even a permanent ban.

    Banned players have limited access to the game based on the terms of their ban. Bans for hacking or using a modified console blocks access to all online features of the game. These types of bans are always permanent.

    Currently there is no appeal process for bans. To keep your online gameplay privileges in good standing, it’s best to immediately cease any unsociable behavior and wait out the ban.

    How long will this ban last?

    The length of bans vary on the type and number of offenses. This can be seen in the ban message that appears in game.

    The ban isn’t a message ban it’s an “account” ban, with no information to follow the ban. This is just the only cause that makes sense to me.

    An appeal would be for an account ban, not a console ban. Account bans and console bans are separate so it would be possible to have the account ban lifted if the enforcement team determined they made a mistake.
