Banned

Hi my name is Matthew Van Vleet i purchursed a xbox 1 with serial number 042282342248 on 4/24/18 at 5 pm and when I purchased the item I didnt know the gentlemen I had purchased it from or that the xbox 1 console had been banned. till I had called into customer
care and a tech agent had helpped me gain that knowledge. Know i have been a customer 15 plus yrs and a good one and a role model on xbox my whole life and im upset i was ripped off cause all i wanna do is game online and have fun and watch my tv shows and
like i have said before i was unknowning of this console having a ban and i asked that you help a gamer that got roped into a bad purchase and unlift the ban so that i can game thank you.

It's not a permenant ban but those that have received a retail console early and connected it to the net have had it banned.

You would have to contact the person you purchased it from for a refund. Console bans are not reversed.

The only options you have at this point are

1) Return the console to the place of purchase

2) Use it offline.

Sorry for the inconvenience but that is how the system is set up.

Well in that case you could change your phone number, or make a case with police.

 

thats crazy basically nothing i can do about it wow you gotta ban a whole system for someone elses couldnt just ban the gamer tag mistakes and a good person like me buys the console and gets screwed at the end of the day

 

Well the thing is you don't really know what they did to get the ban. Consoles can be banned because they were tampered with so banning the account wouldn't really solve the problem.

 

but i looked all around this console there are no modifications to it that's whats crazy i see nothing tampered with i mean hell ill send it in. their are multiple ways a console can be banned and some of them i don't find right is all and i don't know what
they banned him for but they shouldn't of ruined it for the next person he sold it to which happen to be me.....

 

Yeah it sucks. It sucks that there are people out there that take advantage of it by trying to sell it like that too.

 

that is ridculous i feel they should over turn the ban for a loyal customer like me who has had multiple systems and never had one banned and has been around a long time

 

i bought the system i didn't know he made a mistake and i shouldn't get double bent because he made a mistake i feel the console should just be unban they can see my gamertag i'm a good guy and shouldn't have to suffer over this its wrong because i wasnt
