banned xbox live

So my son was banned for replying back to an individual on Xbox one. So he is banned for 8 days! I finally got hold of a person after a LONG time on hold and she could not help. Garbage Microsoft service.

xbox live support can be pretty useful.. but they will not discuss bans. You need to find a way to get intact with xbox live enforcement team. But if you got console banned, that means you have done something before. And you would see where they would think you are the hacker or "cheater".

 

So I called 3 times, they just told me it's not their problem. (360 downloading issues)

The only people that handle suspensions are the enforcement team.

The ONLY way to contact the enforcement team is through their website enforcement.xbox.com

You would need to sign into the account that has the suspension on it there and file for a case review which will allow you to appeal the suspension.

Now the only way that your son would have been suspended is if he replied back to the person in a way that violated the code of conduct. which can be read here https://enforcement.xbox.com/en-US/home/codeofconduct

and then that person reported your son and the enforcement team then investigated the report and determined that there was a violation of the code of conduct.

Keep in mind also that even if the person your son replied to was violating the code of conduct and your son was retaliating even though it was in retaliation to someone else violating the code of conduct it is still a violation and would be subject to a
suspension.

In the future if this happens the best thing for your son to do would be to report the other person, block them, and mute them that way the enforcement team will investigate that person and if they violated the code of conduct will suspend that person, blocking
them will stop your son from being paired up with that person again in a game and muting that person your son will then not receive any further communication from that person.

You should probably actually ask your son why he was really banned. But don't worry little timmy is probably innocent and would never do anything wrong on his electronic babysitting device.
