Banned xbox 1s

I have just bought a second hand xbox 1s to find out it has a console ban, I have contacted the seller to find out that he had no knowledge of the ban and after trying to get hold of the enforcement team for so long with no prevail, gave up and sold
the console and quit console gaming and gone onto pc gaming instead.

Looking online and the amount of ppl trying to get hold of the enforcement teams over banned accounts and consoles for inknown reasons is increasingly hi, I have come off pc gaming to try console but feel it was a wrong choice as I have paid a lot of money
for this console and the support line said I might as well use it as a paper weight but that is crazy.

I paid £150 for this console to find it useless which is not acceptable, pls tell me what can be done to sort the issues out or I am just going to take it's contents and build a pc out of it

Data transfer

i have a question i have an xbox one and an xbox 1s and im thinking about trading in my 1s would there be any way i can transfer all of my data from my 1s to my x1? well not all the data just the games because i transferred my account

 

Banned for no reason

Hey, Recently i got a message saying notice of enforcement on my xbox 1s then it said i was banned till feburary 9th and i cant play any games like gta online if you could help me or tell me why i got banned please tell me my gamer tag is

The warranty on a second-hand Xbox console is void, and the purchaser assumes the risk for any previous modifications or unauthorized activity. Even if the console’s ownership has changed, the console may still be subject to a ban. If you purchase a console
that has been previously banned you will not be able to connect to Xbox Live, and the ban will not be lifted as a result of the change in ownership. XBLPET recommends customers who believe they have not committed actions on the service to warrant a ban to
contact previous owners or users of the console.

If you have purchased or intend to purchase a second-hand Xbox, you can check its current ban status by entering its serial number into the
Console Check Tool. Please note that the current absence of a ban does not preclude the possibility of future enforcement action.

 

When a console is banned, there is unfortunately nothing you can do about it, even if purchased

second-hand. Console bans are permanent and irreversible. Return it to the original owner for a refund if possible.

If you still decide to buy another used Xbox One, be sure to have the seller test the network connection on the Xbox in the network settings: if it's banned, it should produce an

error message stating that the console is banned. Otherwise, I suggest purchasing a brand new console.
