Discus and support Banned when not home in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; my child banned from account when away at 4H activity. Time of banning occurred while away.     Was my account hacked?

    If the account is banned then it's not possible. Not even by support. That's part of the reason why it's recommended to have your own console set as your Home console. Otherwise, you forfeit everything you had on the account when it's banned.

    So the answer is no then? The home xbox of a banned account is stuck on whichever xbox it was set to when it was banned?

    Banned when not home

    Bans/suspensions are generally the result of a complaint being filed and the enforcement team investigating said complain to see if it is valid or not.

    That takes time as the enforcement team likely receives thousands of reports per day and they are a pretty small team so it could have been for something that was done days or even weeks ago. Due to this it is common for suspensions to occur when you havent
    been online in a while as stated here:

    Investigations can take time. Suspensions are not always issues the same day the action took place. It could be for something that took place days or weeks before.

    If it is a console ban then it's permanent.Console bans are never overturned.

    It sounds like something happened during the update when you first connected to live.Does it actually tell you that the console is banned when you try to connect to live?
