Banned Slim Hdd In New Slim

my old xbox 360 slim got console banned about 2days ago i wana buy a new slim can i put my 320gb hdd in my console banned slim the new slim and play on xbox live or is that a violation that can lead to a system ban

HDD transfer from slim to slim

Right now I have a xbox 360 slim 250Gb hdd. I plan on buying the Gears 3 320GB HDD console in September. I already have a transfer kit, becuase I transferred from my previous 120gb hdd to my 250 slim now. My questions is how does this work going from a
slim console to another slim console. Before I hooked up the cable to my new slim and the other end to my old HDD. But with 2 slims, my old HDD is inside my slim console. Just a little confused on how to do a transfer from a slim console to another slim because
of the internal HDD. Any ideas?

Verdict: since my original gtag 1 was never online i have to use a transfer cable to transfer profiles from my original rrod hdd to the current xbox.

Problem: the transfer willt be a full data transfer not partial, from my original 60g hdd to my 4g slim. NOT possible.

Solution: purchase xbox 250g or + HDD, replace 4g hdd with 250, purchase 1x slim to slim hdd transfer cable, transfer current profile from 4g HDD to new 250+HDD. Purchase Xbox360 original hdd to Xbox360 slim hdd transfer cable, Transfer profile from original
360 hdd to 360 slim with new 250g hdd, merge profiles

providing I remember the password.

Yes you can still move your hard drive to a new unmodified console. (As long as your account was not banned also)

well my account is banned as well but ima make a new one i want to clarify if i have acess to xbox live when i get the new system i will make another account i just wana make sure i can get online even tho my old hard drive was in a console banned 360 slim

Since your account has also been banned you will not have access to anything tied to it (DLC, Achievements, etc.) (So I'm not sure anything on your hard drive would be good since it is all linked to your old account which is banned)

I have searched through the forums and tried using outside resources but I can't get an answer I would be comfortable to give you. I don't want to risk giving you a wrong answer.

Most outside sources say you can make a new account. However, since I was unable to find a reliable source within the Xbox forums, I will try to see if I can get some assistance with your question.

 

all i wana know is i already made a new profile on my xbox one if i buy a new slim and put the hdd from my banned slim in the new slim can i have acess to xbox live or even download my new current profile

 

Hi, you shouldn't have any problems using the hard drive from your banned S console in another S console.
