do your kids use the Xbox, believe it or not kids these days commit fraud and do naughty things on line all the time, it is one of the leading causes of being banned, kids maybe angels but not all the time, if they use your account and do something bad then boom, banned, if you are the parent of their accounts and they do something bad, boom your banned.

Microsoft ban accounts all the time for the smallest of things.

...My kids are the ones that use it and they use my account....

May I recommend you create a separate account for each of your kids and add them to your adult's account family?

You can create free Microsoft Accounts for your kids at
https://www.outlook.com in case the kids don't have an email yet.

When they play on a console your account has set as his "Home Console", they can all benefit from your account's Gold membership and your owned games without problems.

When creating their accounts, make sure you enter their birthdates properly, so the system can use that information to properly create child accounts for them, that need an adult parent account, and also allows them to become an adult account, when they
reach legal adult age according to that birthdate.

When you have added your kids on
https://account.microsoft.com/family you can then put restrictions on these child accounts to your liking.

You can prevent them from talking online at all, limit their purchase ability and so on. While restrictions could be set on your adult account as well, since it's an adult account, anyone using that account can revert these restrictions again.

Also be aware, that if your kids continue to use your account (and abuse it), it might cause you to lose the ability to use Skype as well, as communications suspensions also extend to other Microsoft services.

Therefore I can't stress this enough: Create separate accounts for your kids. Do NOT let them use your own adult account!

Or at least be aware of the consequences. You already found out about the communications suspension. I just don't want you to be the next parent that has a $2000 bill on their credit card, because the kid bought Fortnite stuff on the parent's account.

No one will ever tell you what...when or where about the ban it has some privacy behind it for the user who made the claim...

You need to go to the enforcement and look what she did wrong and because it's only a 24 hour ban you can not apply for a case review
