banned from xbox

My son has been banned from his account. He was banned on the 15th Aug, even though we were away that day, and it said he would be banned for 14 days. The account was supposed to re open yesterday at 21.50 however he is still unable to access his message
or play live. We contacted support who said that he needs to appeal but on the area that he should be able to ask for a review, it does not offer this. He is in tears and I am unsure how to help him as support just tells me to contact the enforcement team
but you can't!!!!

It's not a permenant ban but those that have received a retail console early and connected it to the net have had it banned.

That date is the day the suspension was issued,not when the offence took place.

Due to the time it takes to investigate a report your son would of been suspended for something he did weeks ago or longer.

As the enforcement team do not use the forums all anyone here can do is point you to the enforcement site

It's possible that the enforcement team have found other offences your son has committed & extended the suspension.

 

Thank you for responding. I do understand about the dates etc. I just don't understand how or why we are not able to ask for a review. I am not naive enough to think he has not done anything, I just want a right to reply. When we
go into the enforcement page there is no link to review. It was there up until yesterday but it has gone now and we would not know it had been extended had I not called and asked. I then asked how I could contact Microsoft/XBox to complain and was told I could
only write to them. Amazingly, one of the biggest online companies in the world do not have an email address to complain to. It beggars belief.

 

They do have an email address but support are either not allowed to give it out or just wont.

Been through the same thing myself when trying to contact Microsoft HQ in the U.K. about problems with console repairs I've had in the past.

100% agree with you,very poor on Microsofts part.
