Banned From Xbox live- Communication

I was banned from Xbox live about half an hour ago for a communication ban i'm writing this because yes i do deserve the ban. but the reason i was banned was because a player by the gamer tag of "NRGvigilantKhan" while i was trading with him he called me
poor worthless and told me to get a life this made me retaliate by saying "can u read retard", i know this violates terms and services but the reasons i said it was because what he said to me and there was no action taken against him he just get to belittle
me and get away with it. So could you please either give him a communication ban or unban/ make the ban shorter. I am very sorry for my actions and it was pretty silly of me to do it as now i cant talk to my friends during a time were we all have to stay inside.
I hope you unban/ shorten my ban.

You should have reported him and not responded, or simply blocked and ignored him. Enforcement doesn't care about the reasons you said what you said, just that you said it and it was reported.
