    Hello my account was banned, I had 3 month Xbox live card once that expired xbox tried to go onto a credit card on my account which that card had been closed out. Please help

    i cant remember who it was, but there was someone i knew had gold, and owed microsoft some money from not paying his sub for a while. eventually he got banned for not paying up i think.

    Seems to me that the best way to ban someone is simply take away their ability to communicate. No chat. No messages. No nothing. Should still be able to play online if you are paying for the service though. Now if they are cheating then, yeah. Ban them from the service completely.

    Thats why its better to buy from an authroized retailer. microsoft has lots of these in australia and new zealand even. you may pay a lot more from an authorized retailer but what you pay for is a new console with full warranty and functioning 100% well
    not banned faulty etc. but if you pay cheap, expect cheap.

    In addition to the above, any self repairs will be grounds for a permanent console ban from XBL. Pay the fee for repair or purchase a newer console.
