Banned for the wrong reasons

get banned over one player sending only one report how is this fair or just in any way. No warning or anything even have a good reputation. How can u say this is just xbox live is a service I'm paying for if I can't talk to anyone is steeling my service
from me. I shood not have to pay to not talk to people was in a party the intire time and only sent one bad massage to a player talking bad to us. DON'T LIKE U XBOX

It doesn't matter how a situation starts. If you respond in a way that violates the code of conduct, such as profane language, you are equally at fault.

Banned for wrong reason

hi, my gamer tag is Jimst3r 15 and I have been banned for 7 days due to bad communications to other Xbox live users. I feel I have been banned from out of context to what actually happened and feel the enforcement don’t work the way they should. I was on
a multiplayer game (Siege) and my teammates were killing me and trash talking in game chat and I ask why they killed me and stuff, I was angry as I rightly should be in this situation and used a few bad words and tried to get my point across. I feel that ban
is way too harsh for what actually panned out and feel the enforcement team on Xbox don’t do enough and know what actually goes on. Which should improve as players are being wrong done by. I apologise for the language I used, but feel I don’t deserve this
much of a punishment. Thanks

If you got banned then there was a reason you got banned. plus this is the wrong section.

Microsoft do not un-ban previously banned consoles as they are permanent. They do not ban people's consoles/accounts lightly, they do so after several investigations.

The most common reason for a banned console is modifying it, but there are other reasons such as marketplace theft.

You might want to post in section 14 in order to get an official answer.
