Banned for saying the word "Stupid" ???

I understand this situation is frustrating for you, however, I would like to let you know that no one in the community forums or someone from Microsoft support is capable of assisting with enforcement actions.

I recommend you to do an appeal if the enforcement website allows you to do so. You can review how to do this by following the steps provided here:

But the message that got me banned was literally sent 4mins before I got the email to say I was banned.

I know others that have sent me worse messages that I've reported didn't get banned as they still messaged me the days after reporting.

So it's almost as the ban I got was automated.

Please be aware, this word is actually offensive. So the enforcement action has a reason.

Lastly, I would like to let you know that this code applies everywhere, this means here in the forums the code of conduct applies.

The enforcement team manually reviews every report. However, it is important to know that you're not going to be notified about this process or if the player is suspended after they review your report.

So, if it's proven that a reported player is breaking the code of conduct, they're going to be suspended. This is not as soon as you report them, can take a while.
