Banned For Reporting?

I was playing Battlefield4 today and kept getting killed by a guy on my own team. Long story short, he kept killing me and another guy so we kicked him, reported him to Xbox and left the game. The guy followed us to 3 different games and sent me a message
on Xbox calling me [Mod Removed]so i reported that as well. Suddenly, I AM BANNED?!

My issue here, aside from wanting to know why I was banned, is that i cannot open an appeal on my suspension. I was told by a support guy that there should be an "Apply for Review" option but there isnt. This is the SECOND time i have been banned for reporting
someone.. first time i was given a free month and an apology. How are we supposed to report violations of your code of conduct if we get punished? Please help.

It's not a permenant ban but those that have received a retail console early and connected it to the net have had it banned.

Can you check your emails, as generally they do send out an email telling you that you have been banned, and why.

How long have you been banned for, it should say this within a message when you try and sign into Xbox Live, or through the email received?

If you have been banned for less then 24 hours, then the case review option is not going to be available. This would explain why you are unable to submit a case review when you are trying to.

It says i was banned (earlier today) for inappropriate communications... I know the best bet would've been to ignore the guy that messaged me but can someone please tell me if this violates their code of conduct, "***" was sent to me. My response, "really?
You kill me and that makes ***?" The ban is 48hrs bit still, this is the LAST time i ever report someone for breaking the rules.... Let mayhem commence. Enforcement has me really salty over this

 

Well,whatever one of the words was in your message it is blanked out on the forums so if it's not allowed here it's safe to say it's unacceptable on xbox live so you didn't get suspended for reporting someone.

If you abuse the report system then you run the risk of a suspension but other than that you won't get suspended for reporting someone.

You've already touched on this but in the future if you get an abusive message just block & report it,don't respond.

 

Yeah, it censored the word here... I didnt call him a "puss" he called ME one. IMO... The Enforcement team should be renamed to Xbox Mafia i get attacked by someone, and i get punished.

 

If you reported the sender then they probably would of got a suspension also.
