Banned for Harassment while already on a communication suspension

So yesterday i was given a communication suspension for 14 days, fine. I was not able to message anyone, couldn't talk in game chat or in party chat on my mic. Fine. 1 day goes by. Today i try signing into my account and it says i have a permanent ban. I
went online to see what the issue was, and apparently i was given a permanent ban for "harassment and abuse". How can i abuse or harass anyone while i'm on a communication ban ? There's literally no way for me to even talk to anyone, this makes no sense and
is absolutely ridiculous. It's literally not even possible for me to harass anyone at this point, please microsoft do something about this.

The worst part isn't even the ban. All my games were downloaded digitally and i've spent over a thousand dollars on my library. I have lost access to all of them now. Anytime i try and load a game up it says "the person who purchased this needs to sign in"
but since that account was randomly banned i can't even load up my games anymore. My xbox is absolutely useless at this point and i've lost thousands of dollars because of this. My brothers can't play our games anymore either. Please do something about this
because it is absolutely ridiculous.

I don't understand what warranted the ban in the first place, given i was on a communication suspension and had no way of interacting with anyone period. If they want to keep that account banned so be it, but how can i lose access to everything that I've
bought ? That's completely unfair.

As for the communication ban, people will come into games and use glitches to cheat. Troll you, curse at you and if you have any kind of reaction they all report you (these kinds of people almost always play in a group) and you're the one that gets punished.
It's completely unacceptable

Request additional info on my current communications suspension

My account has been communication banned multiple time but this time they tacked on a harassment charge that suspended my multiplayer privileges and my communications. The email I got, on September 7th, that told me what I did wrong said the
harassment suspension restricted multiplayer for 7 days and communication for 30. However, as I was confused about the harassment charge I applied for a appeal and was told that my communications were suspended for 100 days. Now I don't know which one is the
truth as I was banned from multiplayer for more than a week. I would just like to request some additional info on the terms of the suspension.

it says I'm banned from Online play due to harassment which is ridiculous because My brother had already gotten my account banned from communication so idk how why I get banned for harassment 2 days later. I hope this can be resloved. Thank you

Firstly, the Enforcement Team won't ban you just for people reporting you because they get mad or anything.

This video is a few years old, but please watch it. It is similar to how it works today still.

Anyhow, as for your current ban, please go to
http://enforcement.xbox.com and here you can appeal you ban.

Microsoft does review suspensions and can suspend your account during current suspensins (including communication bans) for past activity.

It doesn't matter whether you're currently banned or not. Hopefully this helps you.

 

The enforcement team do not use the forums.

Any report filed against you needs to be investigated which takes time so the ban would of been for something you did several weeks ago or longer,not while you were serving your 2 week suspension.

You forfeit all digital content,remaining gold etc. if you receive a permanent ban.

Well as strange as it may sound the same thing happened to me today (or almost) I've had my account for 7 years with no issues at all but now there is,1 month ago or so I got a suspension from all communictions for 2 weeks which was right because yes I
over did it and got 2 weeks muted,but then my suspension get lifted and 1 week or so after that I get another one ! which this time,I had absolutely no Idea for what reason so I contest it and ask for evidence which they don't give me nor reply and just upheld
the case,and then 2 days later I get an Harrassment or abuse 2 weeks ban from multiplayer services which I could not have done because 1 month ago I was muted for 2 weeks ! and then I only had 1 week or so that I barely played and only talked to my friends
in xbox party chat! but got the mute for some reason and 2 days later when I still can't communicate with ANYBODY,I get an harrassment and or abuse ban,and now I cannot contest it nor have answers to it because I already tried contesting the second mute which
I had no replys with in the first place,and as I look into the forums I see we are not the only one that has happenned to,I want answers and atleast the harrasment and abuse lifted since I could not have done that even if I wanted to! Now I can,t play my games
online because of that and I'm loosing bonuses for what I paid for in For Honor. I have to agree this is unacceptable!

 

Becsusee as the previous poster mentioned it could've been a violation from months ago

Remember they can go back into your account history if reported

Time to.keep.yoir gaming rated e for everyone it's not rocket science

Not to mention you should read the terms of use

They can compound punishments

And multiple violations can lead to a perm ban

Time to change your behaviour

 

Man I can tell you these people obviously don't care,I've been trying to find a way to contests my sanctions but the system won't let me and they don't have anything other than the ''System'' to communicate about the sanctions,the thing that disappoints
me is that quite a few people are having the same issue here and nothing is done or undone and we have no way to contest it even if the system says we can,it doesn't let us contest.... even less talk to somebody about it since there is no option for it or
support about that kind of issues,I've been with xbox since the first one came out and I never HAD any sanctions on any of my accounts before and now all of a sudden I get 3 in the same month on the SAME account,and no one is willing to help unless it's to
tell us to go to enforcement xbox where you cannot do a thing about it.

If anybody know how to do something about it or help me with this,then please help me.

 

You've been given all the info anyone here has. The only people (quite a few...?) who have an issue are those who can't or won't follow the rules while playing on Live. About 50 million people use live and 99.99% have no issue EVER. Play nice, win AND lose
gracefully and keep talk while playing multiplayer games with people you don't know, rated E and you'll never have an issue.

 

then stop breaking the rules 99.9% of livr doesn't have an issue why cant you be play nice it that simple

Remember you can be punished for multiple violations and yes you can serve another suspension while.in suspension so 14 day suspension ends anothef one can become issued during this time meaning 1month etc.

Multiple violations can lead to a perm ban

So l highly suggest you review the terms of use and stop breaking the rules

 

being already in suspension doesn't make you immune from further punishment

Remember multiple teams review your reports

This.meand you serve each suspension one at a time during this time you can be issued another depending on severity so during the 14dsy you get another suspension that could be a month so 14+ 1 month

Not 14dsy time served plus 14 more days for the 1mongh suspension

Those end badly for you as it's another strike towards a perm ban

If your suspension was overturned it wasn't because of any post you made on the forums.

The enforcement team don't use the forums & they are the only ones who can overturn a ban or suspension.

 

and you would receive a email stating so not because of a forum post

You may get the consumer advocate but they can't turn around bans just commincate

And no htey call you not the other way arohnd

According to you are you sure it was overturned because it would've came in an email

It sounds more like the suspension was ended
