Banned for defending

(let this be known that I did RESPOND negatively to a negative individuals message to me)

So I was playing rainbow six siege and get a negative message from an individual so I respond back and I get banned, as well as a message from Microsoft telling me I was bullying/ harassing that person yet they never looked to see what actually played out
sounds to me like your supporting the bully rather then the bullied. And this is after this kid talked all the crap in the world over chat. You know I know it’s xbox live and I understand trash talkers but for Microsoft to sit there and call me a bully and
not look into things apparently. This is disgraceful, demeaning, and ridiculous the other person that i was defending myself from had no punishment enforced on them!!!!!!

Banned for defending myself

Someone messaged me on xbox saying that i had no life and that he was better than me and then his friend got involved and messaged me as well. Since i was camping one of them called me a girl and then i said the "c" word in a sentence not directed at him
and then him and his friend reported me and i got banned im pretty sure that this is unfair towards me since i was being harassed by 2 people and reported them both and nothing happened.

 

Banned for defending myself

The enforcement team will review what happened again to determine if they made a mistake with issuing the suspension. If they did, then it would be lifted. If they still determine you violated the code of conduct, the suspension will be upheld.

 

It doesn't matter how a situation starts. If you respond in a way that violates the code of conduct, you can be punished. In situations like that, it's best to just report the other person and block communications rather than respond.
