BANNED FOR BEING RUDE TO SOMEONE WHO WAS THREATENING TO DDOS ME

I got banned for sending a rude message to someone who was threatening to ddos me and him get away with nothing. I've tried to put out a case review but the questionaire barely even makes sense so i got locked out for 24hrs. This is my second ban so it's
for a week and i believe this is really unfair since he was the one who provoked it.

How exactly i ended up messaging the guy:

I was playing fortnite scrims on a discord and i ended up killing the guy. He then joined my party and invited someone named [Mod Removed Personal Information] after realising i quickly left the party and continued playing. About 2 minutes
later the guy messages me laughing emojis and obviously im pissed off so i said *have fun
[Mod Removed Profanity]*. He obviously was a salty [Mod Removed Profanity] who saw the opportunity to get me banned. I wouldn't have cared but i really feel like this is wrong. My GT is [Mod Removed Personal Information] and
guy who reported me is called [Mod Removed Personal Information].

What do you guys think i should do?

i need to speak with someone ASAP regarding a player who is threatening to kill my friends and successfully DDOS hacked another of my friends. i need resolution. the hacker " KoG Oreo XS " has lots of personal information on me and my friends..

they said they would and they tried. you are telling me that xbox can't punish someone for threatening to DDoS me, cause if so that is silly

 

just report the player. if you respond in a rude way you can get banned,especially if you use vulgar language.

Rules are the same for everyone.

 

Hi although frustrating you broke the rules yourself and therefore received a ban. The advice given is ignore, report, block. It's your account at risk. People will always try to troll sadly. It's how you respond that counts.

 

It is annoying but I just don't respond or take it personally. It's not like they know you. If you respond negatively, you'll get suspended every single time.

You are responsible for your own actions. So unfortunately, even though someone else started something, you would be subject to suspension if the enforcement team deems it the appropriate action. When someone else behaves this way your options are to ignore
and/or report them, or respond civilly.

The only place you will be able to try and get the ban sorted is the enforcement team.

You have violated the code of conduct unfortunatly with the words you used. My adivise for the future is just to keep calm when someone else sends you a rude message and report it immediatly and block the person.

 

Retaliation violates the code of conduct, just block/report and move on.

 

With any problem player just block them report them if needed and don't engage them. Not even to defend yourself.

 

It might help you to take a look over the
FAQS about DoS and DDoS attacks, just in case you ever do experience an attack to your internet connection.

The advise that the other ambassadors have advised. Would be the best to abide by when thinking of retaliating to the provocations of the individual threatening you.

 

All I can suggest in these situations is blocking people like this and remaining civil. There is no need to be rude back. Then you can report them and Xbox Live will take necessary action.
