    I got banned for a week for using a word in a message yet I have profanity fired at me and yet Microsoft has done nothing against the people who sent me it. I have reported this and still nothing. This is victimization at the utmost and I think I will cancel my xbox live subscription through this. You cannot ban someone for saying (Mod Removed) and leave someone alone who said (Mod Removed) to me.

    Hi,

    You won't be notified if your reports results in a ban. The enforcement team do look at reports and issue suspensions/bans, but it may take longer for some reports to actioned that others.

    Anything that contains expletives, or uses sexual and racial harassment will always have action taken. You just need to be patient.

    If someone sends you a message that breaks the Xbox Live ToS, all that is required of you is to report and block. Do not respond to these messages.

    That's where you'll see the type of ban, the duration and if you can appeal it. Support cannot assist with issues of bans or suspension.

    Why does the enforcement team not ban players who have been reported multiple times by multiple people for cheating? But will ban players for minor things such as using profanity?

    banning for bad words and mostly chat and messaging systems are covered by AI and not humans. so the AI will ban you instantly or near instantly once a report is made, treat the messaging system is if it was disney.

    Hi.

    If you try to insert a word that is banned by the Xbox Live, a message will appear to tell you that it is inappropriate.
