Banned for a message that wasn't offensive

Abusive messages can be classed as offensive, however 'teabagging' is not - as it is simply a taunt in many ways. Communication bans are for typing offensive messages, sending offensive voice messages, or using offensive language in-game.

You wont be unbanned from a communications ban if you have done something bad.

Wow, they get perma-banned for offensive tags? I feel bad for people who get banned for stuff that isn't even offensive, but I guess the actual offenders deserve it. The "If you have to ask" rule doesn't really work though, because i've been banned once
on my main gamertag for something that wasn't offensive in the least, and was then lied to about it.

To many suspensions will result in a permanent ban.

If someone sends you an offensive message,file a complaint & then delete it.

If you don't respond with another offensive message then you won't run the risk of being banned.

You reported the messages, enforcement found them to be offensive, and acted on the complaint. Or, he sent offensive messages to somebody else and they reported the messages, enforcement found them to be offensive, and acted on the complaint. Either way,
he will have to wait until his suspension has expired. If he was banned outright, then the messages had to be pretty bad, or he had many complaints. Bans are almost never reversed.
