    Banned for 28 hours but no active suspensions on my account?


    This evening I received a ban for no reason as I had just created an LFG post, which did not violate community standards, the ban came directly after posting the same LFG post, copy and paste, which I’ve been posting for the last eight weeks. When I look at my enforcement history, it gives me a recent enforcement notification, but when I look at my suspension history, my previous suspension and my current suspensions nothing appears. It also appears I have zero out of eight strikes. I am a small streamer, and my entire time playing my Xbox this evening has been live streamed for the entire world to see, I have not violated community standards as I’ve exchanged a total of four messages with two friends mentioning I was using discord for voice communications. I would like to appeal, but there’s nothing for me to appeal And I believe people are reporting my profile as of whole for no reason, but to ruin my gaming experience, or their pleasure. I have video proof I have not violated any terms of service, and would like to submit the video as evidence, but there’s nothing I can do as there’s no “suspension“ to appeal.

    When a ban is just a few hours over 24, they still treat it as a 24 hour ban. It's still too short to submit a case review. 28 hour suspensions are actually pretty common. It's just based on what the enforcement team determines is what is needed for the
    infraction.

    28 hour bans are considered 1 day bans since it's just a difference of a few hours. Responses from case reviews can typically take about 72 hours so the enforcement team does not allow them on such short suspensions because the suspension would already be
    over by the time you'd get a review. So the 28 hour ones are just lumped in as 1 day.

    There is no way to know if/when you have been reported or how many times. The most you may be able to see as far as how other players view you, is your rep (https://enforcement.xbox.com/en-US/home/reputation)
    However, rep does not effect suspensions/bans. You can be completely in the green and still receive a permanent ban for violating the code of conduct some other way.

    Thanks for reaching out to us in the forums with this situation. As our Ambassador has stated, you must go to through the
    Enforcement websiteto resolve this or know why the ban/suspension was put into effect.
    If you were suspended for longer than a day you should also be able to submit a case review from the same website, if eligible. Side note: Enforcement does not Post, Read,
    or Comment on Forums nor can support offer assistance.

    If you run into a toxic player then Report, Block and Ignore the user, and do not engage them. (Enforcement does not see anyone as Defending themselves, they look towards the
    Code of Conductonly.)

    Since there is no further resolution and in an effort to minimize repetitive answers we will be locking this thread, but if you have any further questions or concerns feel free to come back to the Xbox forum (Do not repost the same question or
    thread as that would violate the Xbox Forum Guidelines).
