Banned (Family account?)

Hey,

My account has been banned, I'd like to appeal because I wasn't aware of my account being used. However, when I head to the enforcement section, my account says that I can submit an appeal because my account is a child account. I have a child on my account,
but I am registered as the adult not the child. I am worried that this will affect my reputation, as I have never, in all my years as an Xbox customer, had any negative feedback or enforcement action.

Xbox doesn't notify me when someone uses my account?

Family as in settings or blood related family?

Will I really get banned for using someone account even with their own consent?

I'm fairly certain you can remove banned accounts from family plans.

have you checked on enforcement.xbox.com to find out if you are able to send an appeal or not?

or was this just received as a message with the ban?

 

I've checked, not able to appeal because my account is a child account. But my account is definitely an adult account.

 

Sign in with the account at account.microsoft.com/family and it will tell you if its a child account and what the parental account that is attached to it is.
