Banned by from communication

So I got recently banned from communication and it has given me no message or email and I even check on enforcement thing. I've waited over 30 days and still nothing. Contacted Xbox and nothing helped and I'm confused. Could it be a console communication
ban, is that even a thing? I feel like I need to buy a new Xbox.

Accidentally banned from communication by friend

Me and my friend were playing around in the messaging app and sending some playful banter. But then, my friend "Im Atlas" decided that it would be funny if he reported some of the messages that I sent him. He even texted me to apologize for getting me banned.
Please undo this so that I may get in touch with my friends through Xbox, I promise I do not send messages to hurt people; only playfully. My gamertag is "."

One report does not get you banned

Will I get banned just because I received complaints?
No. A common misconception is that a certain number of reports will result in an automatic suspension. According to the myth, even if you haven’t done anything wrong someone can get you suspended by encouraging players to file many complaints. This is completely
untrue.

XBLPET investigates complaints and takes each report into consideration when making an enforcement decision, but a certain volume or frequency of complaints doesn’t guarantee a suspension. We take an evidence-based approach to enforcement and take numerous
factors into account when considering issuing a suspension. The context around the content or activity is particularly essential and drives our decision-making process. Simply put, there is no magic formula that instantly results in a suspension.

Despite what some may claim, XBLPET will never ever ban anyone “for no reason”. Suspensions
always occur as a result of a specific Code of Conduct violation.

Also support agents can't unban you only Enforcement, you'll have to wait it out. You might be able to report a case review but I doubt it'll work for a short term ban like communications.

The only place to contact enforcement would be on enforcement.xbox.com but if you don't have a ban listed there try this

troubleshooter.

Also try removing the account from the console, doing a hard reset, and re-adding the account.

Its called a console privilege suspension. This usually has a duration of 60 days and are usually given after an extensive amount of communication suspensions on your console OR 1 100 day communication being given to a profile on your xbox

There have been known issues with communications still not working after a communications suspension. However, they should have been resolved. Since you're still having issues, you may want to check this thread -

check your email thats linked to your account it will say in there what the ban is for and for how long.
