Banned but unsure why

Hi Guys and Girls,

I hope this thread finds you well?

I'm writing this for a little bit of clarification on the reasons why I have been banned for one week. the reasons are as follows:-

1. Looking for Group Posts

2. Theft/Phishing/Solication.

2A- Theft-which provides that a person is guilty of theft if they dishonestly appropriate property belonging to another with the intention to permanently deprive the other of it

2B- Phishing- The fraudulent practice of obtaining personal information, such as passwords and credit card numbers.

2C- Solication -the act of asking for or trying to obtain something from someone

I've been trapped in the house due to covid for a number of months now and use Xbox live as a way to reach out to people. I recently lost my job and was discussing with friends how i can give back to my Following as being unemployed it wouldn't be something
I can do with cash. A friend and fellow streamer suggested using Looking for Groups to promot giving away in game items. A number of streamers on Fallout 76 do it anyways and a number of other games people are promoting their Twitch ID/Giveaways or even Brought
wins for like PUBG and warzone.

People on Fallout are forever guilty of soliciation- Brought walkthrougs/Base building or even people selling weapons for money. I feel this is pretty unfair.

I don't understand what rule I broke or educated to ensure I would not repeat the same mistake again. I feel its a little unjustifed especially with no explaination and the fact that others have been doing this for a lenghtly period of time.

Sorry if attempting to give back to the followers has caused this as i just wanted to reward some people for just being there and talking to me

If someone could help me with understanding this I would be greatful of your time a patience.

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We see you have questions on an Enforcement action. Unfortunately, no one here can answer these questions as we are not part of Enforcement. The only way to appeal the ban is through a case review. Enforcement does
not use the forums nor have a way of contacting them.

If you were suspended for longer than a day you can also submit a case review from the same website.

if enforcement is showing no bans on your account then you should be ok, unless the actual xbox is banned i am not sure. what error are you getting, how do you know that you might be banned.

I've removed a second account which I planned to use for my son but I've kept my account on there which inclass as an adult account as I have 18+ games etc. I've check my xbox status online and it states I've had no bans in the history so sure I've never had my system banned.

However, if it really got banned, there are cases where it doesn't even allow you to open a case review, and unfortunately, as mentioned, all purchased content is not retrievable or transferable. The Xbox Live Policy and Enforcement team who do the investigation and determine whether the console or account will be banned.

if a perma ban then thats it you lose all purchased items, saves, basically everything, nothing can be transferred and changing email alias will do nothing as the microsoft account is banned.

you need to sign into xbox enforcement to see if you actually have a ban and if you can submit a review, you get one only, support are not allowed to help in this matter either.
