Banned because of another person.

My brother had access to my account has got me banned as you saw 5 minutes before my ban Account Name: XzT Lightning has access to my account since we are brothers and share xbox's he was playing Rss on ranked and I signed him out to play rocket league he
called us various offensive names and we mass reported (3 times) so he got insta banned as he was still on my account from signing me out constantly he went on to saying we got him banned and he went on to my account and started messaging (3 people) the N-word
so I got insta banned you can track the i.p back to the console that he was playing on and you can check to see that I tried to sign in to my account from a different i.p and I feel it is unfair to punish me since he did it to himself and seeked revenge.

Just to add,if you have reported this person via your console then they will be investigated.

That is the only way to report someone.You should also block this person.

If someone is getting your ip address then that is something you need to take up with your isp as that is done via your broadband/internet connection,not xbox live.

 

As the owner of the account you are ultimately responsible for how the account is used, both good and bad. When we issue a suspension, it’s not necessarily because you committed a violation, but because the account was used to commit a violation.
Even if you weren’t home or holding the controller when the activity occurred, if a particular Gamertag was used to harass other players or cheated in a game we have to hold it accountable.
