Banned Account

Hello. So this post isn't for this account, it's for another account that is banned but I didn't know was also banned from the forums. I don't think there's a ticket # or anything for my specific gamertag so I'll just list it below.

The gamertag is i S ii C kk. I was just recently permanently suspended for a communications offense and after appealing it, the person that upheld the decision(XBLET_Jupiter, which is actually an interesting name) explained to me
why I was suspended like that and why they upheld the decision, which I appreciate. I just dislike that there isn't really any communication between the Enforcement Team and the person being punished but at the same time I understand it because everyone would
beg for their account back instead of conversing like adults.

Now this post isn't my begging, griefing, or anything of the sort, I just had to get this off of my chest and basically throw all of my chips onto the table.

I had been an Xbox member for the better part of a decade, and in being an Xbox member it has helped me cope with numerous things that have gone wrong in my life, from relationships gone awry, to being homeless, and to losing my father, Xbox was the most
readily available best friend that I could count on(crazy, right?). Now I did have friends that supported me and all but they weren't living in the same household as me and didn't totally understand my struggles. My xbox has been my salvation through college,
high school, and everything in between.

I understand why I was suspended and in fact, I earned it. After sitting here and thinking about it and looking back at my past 2 week communication suspensions, it made me feel as though I was some type of gangster(not a thug, like a mobster) in the sense
that I'd do something wrong, get a slap on the wrist or do a little jail time, and then I'd be free to go back to doing my crimes. Finally after being caught and permanently suspended, it hit me in the face like a freight train. My Xbox has been more than
an Xbox to me, as I've always carried it with me in the front seat of a car or wrapped up in a blanket like a child because it was the one thing I had that kept me going through all of my hardships. Losing my account that I've had for what feels like forever
truly makes me feel as though I've lost a great friend and a part of me in the process. In all honesty I've seen the error of my ways. I was talking to some friends and had come to the conclusion that I was going to be quitting Xbox after finding out I was
suspended, but in all reality I know that I won't because it's such a huge part of my life that I'll never be able to quit it.

I feel as though I'm legitimately going through the five stages of grief as of right now, and the first stage is being denial, and me hoping that I'll wake up and just have a 2 week suspension and I'll feel like a changed man afterwards. Another part of
me is in a phase that I don't want to call depression, but it certainly feels that way.

Like I had said earlier, this post isn't really about me griefing or begging for my account back, but a second chance would be the greatest gift I could be given. Seeing what's at stake really opened my eyes to the pointlessness that is what I've been suspended
for. Again, I wanted to give Jupiter a shoutout for at least explaining to me why I was suspended and what brought those "charges" on to me.

The one thing I'd be hoping for, if anything(aside from a lifted suspension, of course) is some kind of probation period that closely monitors a users reports and being reported, that way if one red flag comes up then boom that's it, but at the same time
and with my history I guess I was already in that probation period, but I'm not quite sure. I know that the ET doesn't tell you when you're on the verge of getting suspended or anything like that and I feel like that would change a lot if they did, so I guess
I understand at the same time as to why they don't.

I've looked on Google and seen that a lot of people are complaining about the commonness of being banned or punished but I don't take that stance. My own account and transgressions led to my suspension and that's how I see it. I'm unhappy about it, obviously,
as I can't play with friends and enjoy the games I love on the console that I love, but as I said, I earned my punishment.

In the end of this, like I said, communication would be greatly appreciated. I love Xbox and their customer service has always been great for me.

What happens to your games if you get banned on an XB One

that is the same as it is now, if you manage to break the rules so badly its a lifetime account ban you loose everything jn that account.

for a modified console its the console that is banned, I think you have to involved in active game code hacking or account phishing or other be involved in nasty completely ruin live for others areas to get a perm ban for your actual gamer account, hey are never clear on why accounts are banned tho

 

Xbox Live Perma Ban (Unban)

is it possible to unban an account as mine was marketplace fraud for things a hacker did. I have the account for like 5 years now and all the account on it is gone. can you report the account enough for the ban to be overwritten and cancelled. If so can you please report Pro5ebsterHD on xbox it would really help me out with the ban thanks.

 

Unfortunately if you have already filed a case review with the enforcement team on their site and it was upheld there is nothing further you can do. The enforcement team does not use these forums and can only be contacted through that site.

 

Ah okay, I guess the ET has no real way of being contacted? It would also be great if there was a way to pay to get your account unlocked, I'd drop that money in a heartbeat.

 

Sorry for what happen to your account, I wish you all the luck to come over you depression in life and still find meaning with the video games you love to play even if it not online.

You can post your idea on the feedback forums about paying back to recover a perma banned account and if possible play with people with the same banned account and this page is where someone from Microsoft will

What would be the point of permanently banning someone if they could just pay to get the account unbanned?

 

If unbanning an account costs a few hundred dollars, that charge from one person equals out to a few people paying for a new game plus Xbox Live for themselves. I'm just one person and I know I'd pay that sum. How many other people out there do you think
would also be willing to make that kind of financial commitment to have their account unlocked? I'm sure there are quite a few.

I think what Daft badges is saying, what's the point now of permanently banning an abuser of the ToC / CoC if they can pay to get it back and continue to abuse the system in the same way or another form. Seems unethical if I may say so.

 

That's pretty much it.What's the point of a punishment if someone can just buy their way out of it?

People would be violating the rules even more knowing that they can just buy their way out of any punishment that happens to them,defeats the purpose of having rules & consequences for breaking those rules.
