    I linked my Bank Account maybe at around 9:00 AM EST as of 11/29/2017, so this post is the same day I verified my account with microsoft. So I have it ready to use and was excited because I could finally upgrade my player on NBA 2K18 with VC but when I went
    on to buy it, my bank account wasn't an option and it was greyed out. I couldn't even have it as a selection, it would just skip over it, this really ticked me off because I tried to do this with paypal, that didn't work, so I would like to at least know WHY
    this is happening. Is it because I just linked it the same day and it takes a couple of days for it to be used online, or is it a glitch, any legitimate answer would be fantastic.

    I fixed my problem by changing my payment method (despite not having a premium account and therefore not actually needing ANY payment method... But hey, this is Microsoft...) from Paypal to a bank card.

    XOne "Use a different way to pay" problem

    Go to billing.Microsoft.com, pull up your account, remove you payment methods, then re-ad your payment methods.

    Profit.(for Microsoft)

    payment option dont show up

    Make sure the option is set as your primary payment method at https://account.microsoft.com

    However, if the payment method does not show up on the Xbox you will need to contact your phone service provider to make sure it's available and activated in your area.

    In the meantime I would recommend setting up a paypal account. It can be attached to your bank account if you do not have a credit card.

    This means the payment method has an issue, you should try a different payment method or contact your bank, usually it's because a debt on this account or a different account on a suscription but the best option it's to try a different payment method

    Hi,

    If you have money on your account then that is the default method Microsoft will use to take the payment, unless you also have another payment option and you choose this instead.

    If you buy something with your account balance, it will not show on a bank statement.

    You can also split payments between account balance and credit/debit cards. Any credit/debit payments from split purchases would show on a statement however.

    I don’t want to cancel it I just want to change the payment method from bank card to Microsoft account balance if this is possible? I’ve tried going on change payment method but it just lets me use card or add a new card it doesn’t give me the option to use my account balance
