Banishment: I think it's absurd how banishment by conduct from enforcement is being dealt with, since a person makes a complaint and does not even give him the right of defense, I have my account for almost 9 years and I am a fan of xbox I've had all of
them so far, but the problem is that since the enforcement came I took two bans for breaking the code of conduct, I'm a quiet person I have a good reputation, but I get a lot of bad words for playing bad or good games, Most of the cases I ignore, what the
enforcement should do is verify where the offense started and ban the provocateur and not the provacado, after all no one is iron, but if this erroneous judgment continues and without any analysis and no chance of defense me I am forced to leave the Xbox and
buy Playstation, I know I will not miss it before the millions, but I am a citizen, paid all the live services I use and can not deprive me of paid services without making a refund or right Of defense, here is my outburst.

I am contacting you to challenge a ban I received today at 1 o'clock in the morning that I would have threatened players when I have been banned from comunications for 2 days until 21/10/2017 and that I ' have done nothing to deserve it

and the ban I want to challenge me block all the multiplayer content from today 0:52 until 23/10/2017 in order to play online

I hope you can remove the total ban

Rated M games but when played online, rated E. - with the creation of a corporate police force to enforce said 'policies.' Pretty good business model isn't it?

How many of these type threads have we seen since the X1 launched? Well over 500 is my guess. How many on that other consoles forums? I've yet to see a single one.

Just making an observation!

That can be remedied by say. Your state/fed/country lawmakers, all they need do is pass a law which states that. If a retail game is rated E, T, or M at launch, then said rating carries through to online play regardless of MS/Sony/Steam policy or dlc created
in support of said game.

Yet their will still be complainers so instead of 'report and block' the industry could impliment block only where the system and not rentacorpcops would then not allow you to ever be matched/communicate with said person ever again.

OP, as I am sure you already know. It does you no good to contact enforcement, or these forums in an effort to get a corporate police force to reverse their verdict. But outside regulations could POSSIBLY do some good.

Personally, we (family) would love to play with/against randoms online.. But we were told that MS newest policy changes favored the politically correct, after a long drawn out discussion and him informing us how with X1 that our REP would carry over (One
handed gamer gets "UNSPORTING" rating???) with this admin, we took his advise and decided to never play random online again... Which left us with 2 consoles, 2 seperate gold accounts and only one another trustworty enough to game with. That was just days after
Destiny launched.

So believe me, I get what you're feeling.

 

Xbox live enforcement has been pretty much the same since live started.

The reason you are seeing more threads now is because the enforcement team stopped using the forums & have their own site,enforcement.com, were you go to find out about bans/suspensions & appeal .i.e. defend your self.

Problem is that the people who get suspended etc. don't know this so they contact support who also don't know this & tell them to post on the forums.

If you retaliate in a way that violates the ToU/CoC then you risk being suspended,doesn't matter who started it.

Goths right,just report,block & ignore anyone harassing you on live,it really is quite simple.

Just because you pay for live doesn't mean you are exempt from the rules you agreed to follow when you started your account.

Threatening to go to PlayStation,which has the same rules by the way,won't get you anywhere because no one cares what platform you play your games on.

 

And why did enforcement stop using the forums?

Was it not that in relation to units sold, x1 gamers were being banned in large enough numbers that MS was afraid of possible media reports and shut down the copy and pasted threads?

I've been here under various accounts (couldn't remember email info for origional account so I created this one) since at least 2003, how long you been here?

 

Oh and since when is stating. "I am forced to leave Xbox and buy Playstation," is seen as. "Theatening" to any.one person, group of persons or corporation?

 

I have been on these forums since they started,about 2002/2003,from when I was a xbox live beta tester.

They stopped using the forums so they could help people on a more personal & one to one basis & due to privacy.

They can explain more privately then they can on a public forum,not one of your usual conspiracy theories.

As for someone saying they are going to PlayStation,the only reason people post this is that they think someone from Microsoft will beg them to stay.

The op isn't being forced to do anything.If they are getting suspended then it's down to them.All they have to do is follow some simple rules

So basically, the OP is saying if the erroneous judgement isn't overturned and his two weeks ban lifted, he will go and buy a PS4. And that to me is a threat, a threat to leave the Xbox ecosystem and go over to the PlayStation ecosystem.

 

Sorry it took me so long to reply back, I had to get to a PC as posting via the xbox one was becoming a pain.

"They stopped using the forums so they could help people on a more personal & one to one basis & due to privacy." ~ Sorry, but that don't wash. As for 'Privacy' - Proper Names being displayed when setting up an Xbox One for the first time displays your proper
name without your input forcing those who actually want Privacy to go into settings to change it.

The real reason enforcement stopped using the forums is I posted earlier.

will find out that that too will not work. And the OP is being forced. What do you think. "Enforcement" is set up to do? Is it not to FORCE you to dot every I and cross every T (Conform) to MS's sense of morality? If you can't do that then what? Account etc
permabans correct? How mans bans thus far for the OP? 2 is what I read. how many more to go before the OP is permabanned? - Yet you do not call that being forced?

Disclaimer: I, meaning ME PERSONALLY. I'm not rich, heck I can't even afford my electric bill sometimes but regardless of finances, and yes, MS would love nothing more than to permaban me for "Speaking out." Yet my sense of morality compels me to defend,
not the actions of the OP, but the reactions of MS's Xbox division. I've seen countless times enforcement being asked. "What specifically did I do." and all they got from enforcement for an answer is the same old copy and paste reply. Yet, now they have a
separate site for "privacy" where everything is kept "private" in other words. One on One where You the public can no longer view the actions (OP) nor the reactions (Enforcement) and judge for yourself what it was that not only caused the infraction, but what
enforcement's penalty for doing so actually was.

The only reason for keeping this "private" is not to shield the gamer, if that were the case then MS wouldn't have allowed. Proper Names to be displayed, but rather enforcement (Actually Microsoft) from any and all PUBLIC embarrassment.

the Xbox Forums are no longer used for Enforcement inquiries.
